Salary: £45K£50K (dependent on skills and experience) Location: Surrey Working hours: 35 hours per week Start date: ASAP Who You'll Be Working for: Manufacturing Order Control Manager - Responsibilities: Responsible for order management of suppliers and customers. Responsible for handling the procurement order process, sourcing suppliers, and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain and optimise costs. Monitor inventory levels, analysing demand patterns and implementing inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses. Responsible for matters relating to sales order administration within the company in order to bring a swift and effective response to the requirements of all customers by way of efficient processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions, and implement best practices within our order management function. Resolve quality issues of suppliers, collaborating with QA team. Manage other members of the team and collaborate with other members of the company. Prepare and present reports on team activities, performance metrics to higher management. Attend internal and external meetings remotely and physically in UK and other countries Order Control Manager - Requirements: Previous experience as a purchasing or order management manager Previous experience of team management In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices. Strong skills in planning, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques. Knowledge of vendor management and supply chain inventory management systems. Knowledge of customer order (sales administration) management Knowledge of local and international logistics including custom clearance and incoterms Experience with global sourcing. Proficiency in using procurement software and systems. Business level of English Familiar with use of Microsoft Office. Word, Power-point Experience in Japanese companies welcoming. Japanese language skill to effectively communicate with key suppliers.
