Axcis Education are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant available on a Full-Time basis, to work in a SEND school in the Budleigh area of East-Devon. This school provide support to students aged 3-19 with an Educational Health Care Plan, and works with an extensive range of SEND including but not limited to ASC, SEMH and MLD. The school work to 4 key objectives, these are ‘thoughtful communication, celebrating achievements, behaving kindly, and respecting those around you’. This directive aims to prepare every student to achieve their best future, something that the school is proud of, and also reflects their Holistic approach to education. The curriculum that the school follows includes core subjects, alongside many opportunities to adapt the learning offer to suit the individual needs of the student. The curriculum works towards enabling students to make healthy lifestyle choices, equip them with the social skills necessary to navigate life, and to build knowledge and understanding of how to maintain good mental health and wellbeing.
