The Football Association has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Learning Delivery Lead.
You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of learning events within your assigned region, ensuring that programs are delivered efficiently across various formats (in-person and virtual).
Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders, including workforce teams, venue partners, and local coach development teams, ensuring national alignment and consistent program quality.
What will you be doing?
1. Oversee the delivery of learning events within the region, ensuring timely and effective execution across multiple formats (in-person and virtual).
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders, ensuring national alignment and consistent program quality.
3. Guarantee that all learning programs in the region meet the organisation's quality standards and are delivered in alignment with guidelines.
4. Identify, assess, and resolve operational challenges or risks that could impact program delivery.
5. Collaborate across the Learning and Innovation team to align regional delivery plans with broader national approaches.
6. Track the performance of regional learning initiatives, ensuring programs are aligned with organizational goals.
7. Lead, coach, and support team members, enhancing individual and team capability.
8. Provide regular feedback and insights on regional needs and challenges.
9. Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the region.
10. Execute additional tasks as required to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
11. Comply with all company policies and procedures to maintain health, safety, and well-being standards.
12. Complete a DBS check as part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment.
What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
Knowledge:
1. Degree qualification in learning, education, sport, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with adult learning theories and design principles.
3. Knowledge of event logistics management.
Experience:
1. Proven experience in managing learning events across geographically dispersed regions.
2. Demonstrated experience in supporting learning delivery across multiple formats.
3. Successful track record in event management.
4. Effective relationship management skills.
Skills:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Strong organizational and project management skills.
Beneficial to have:
Knowledge:
1. Postgraduate qualification in education, learning, event management, or a related field.
2. Understanding of multi-modal learning delivery best practices.
Experience:
1. Experience in using learning management systems (LMS).
2. Background in managing event budgets.
3. Experience with risk management in event planning.
Skills:
1. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
2. Experience with project management tools.
3. Knowledge of virtual event platforms.
4. Experience with presentation software.
