An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership as a Safeguarding Manager. Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership is delivered in partnership between Turning Point, Framework and Double Impact. The partnership combines Turning Point’s national experience as an outstanding substance use provider together with Double Impact’s specialism in lived experience and recovery and Framework’s expertise supporting service users with complex issues.
Our ‘Recovery First’ model underpins everything at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, with lived experience recovery fully integrated and visible throughout. Lincolnshire’s residents will benefit from Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership’s highly integrated and highly localised approach, supporting with multiple issues across all parts of Lincolnshire.
As a Safeguarding Manager we offer a starting salary of £34,125 rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, rising to £39,921 per year. (Dependent on experience you may be offered a starting salary above the initial starting salary).

Role Responsibility
As Safeguarding Manager you will lead on all aspects of Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults across the service. You will foster an environment of professional curiosity relating to safeguarding, advocate for ensuring the voice of the child is heard< and ensure a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Within the role you will be responsible for:
1. Oversight of safeguarding training and competency across the workforce in collaboration with local safeguarding board,
2. Chairing Safeguarding Action learning sets to support staff with practice improvement and ensure oversight of safeguarding cases
3. Maintain a log of safeguarding cases across the service
4. Co-ordinate and chair a monthly Pregnancy Multi-Disciplinary team Meeting
5. Review safeguarding reports, providing feedback and coaching to drive quality improvement and support learning
6. Attend internal and external safeguarding meetings and maintain partnership with stakeholders across Lincolnshire
7. Care co-ordination and delivery of treatment to a small number highly complex safeguarding cases where required
8. Accompanying colleagues to safeguarding meetings where require
The Ideal Candidate
An inspiring role model, we'll expect you to already have experience of Safeguarding ideally within a drug and alcohol setting. Building relationships with colleagues, commissioners and service users alike will be a big part of what you do, we’re also looking for a Safeguarding Manager who can confidently engage and influence people.
You will be an advocate for learning and have skills to coach and support staff to improve their safeguarding practice.
Whilst not an essential requirement of the role, we welcome applications from qualified Social Workers.
