Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient logistics and supply chain processes. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and effective business processes to optimise operations.
Responsibilities
1. Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
2. Oversee the implementation and utilisation of warehouse management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless supply chain activities.
4. Develop and maintain effective business processes that support continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and high performance.
6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and implement corrective actions as necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
8. Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse activities with overall business objectives.
