Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collate relevant information to prepare and raise fees, liaising with departments and managers to ensure accurate and complete billing.
2. Consolidate and issue relevant accounts documentation to clients, using appropriate communication methods, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
3. Electronic filing of relevant submissions, to the correct authorities within appropriate deadlines.
4. Monitor and meet financial and departmental deadlines, prioritising workload using practice reports and liaising with managers and operational team.
5. Respond to correspondence, e-mails and phone calls with clients and external agencies in a timely and professional manner.
6. Provide general administrative support, including preparing and formatting reports, letters, and PowerPoint presentations.
7. Monitor and manage calendar bookings, meetings and appointments for department.
8. Update relevant practice software ensuring integrity of data.
9. Support and assist with reception duties and other departmental admin when required.
10. Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy administrative role, preferably within an accountancy practice or similar professional services environment.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
3. Experience or knowledge of Power Bi, preferable but not essential.
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
