gtd healthcare is one of the largest NHS commissioned Primary and Urgent care providers in North West England. Based in Denton, Manchester, we have a an excellent opportunity for a IT Support Officer to join ourInformation and Digital Delivery Team.
This exciting post provides specialist information management and technology support and professional information services to drive gtd healthcares service delivery model. The teams fundamental structure consists of two core functions, Digital Technical Support and Business Intelligence Development.
As a IT Support Officer, you will support the organisations business, information management and technology and communications network and systems applications on-site and remotely.

Main duties of the job

55. Experience with core Internet technologies.
56. Experience with IT infrastructure components.
57. Support IM&T function to deliver a quality service aligned with good practice across all areas including Incident Resolution, Service Transition, Technology Deployment and Technology Disaster Recovery.
58. Support gtd healthcares telephony platform configuration, including cross platform call recording technologies.
59. Be familiar with Windows Operating systems and a detailed understanding of Active Directory / role based permissions.
60. Support the delivery of the IM&T infrastructure, to ensure true mobile working is achieved.
61. Support business continuity / disaster recovery plans for the technology portfolio and the development and management of plans for the recovery of data and systems in the event of plans and unplanned systems failure.
Desirable
62. Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
63. Professional experience in networking infrastructure and system integration.
64. Experience establishing what drives quality and world-class customer focus and attention to details.
65. Identify opportunities for more efficient and innovative solutions to service delivery and business functions through use of technology.

67. Work in close collaboration with the clinical system suppliers, evaluating gtd healthcares technology platform and rationalising innovative technology opportunities.
68. Have a track record of support and developing ICT Systems across multiple sites.
69. Support with business development opportunities by producing accurate activity datasets to compliment tender processes.
70. Directly contribute to/manage specific departmental and service-wide IM&T projects, including the development and testing of database applications and other information systems.
