We are currently looking for a Senior Applications Business Partner to join our Applications and Governance team. The role contributes to saving lives at sea by leading a team to leveraging the investment in new business solutions by looking for ways to make it easier or more cost effective to save lives at sea.

Your role
The Senior Applications Business Partner is part of the Applications department leadership team, leading the team who will develop and configure our core operational applications and provide the strategic interface with transformation programmes to develop opportunities to enhance applications and ensure that or technology truly enables our functions. The successful candidate will lead Application strategy development, solution discovery, risk and relationship management and communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information regarding business requests, projects, and initiatives. You will be leading the team who configure and maintain our cloud applications and working outside of direct line reporting in taking other IT&S stakeholders on the journey towards a product-based approach, as well as ensuring that we are set up to handle software change, utilising ‘dataops’ and ‘devops’ ways of working in the right places
About you
To be considered as our new Senior Applications Business Partner you will need:
9. Experience with MS Dynamics technology support, business systems analysis / business process transformation, software development and deployment.
10. Demonstrated breadth and in-depth knowledge of assigned business areas.
11. Leadership experience in developing and delivering strategic applications plans and/or project portfolios.
12. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience across the applications lifecycle.
