The individual will be working alongside the maintenance planner and engineering management team to supply maintenance spares and services from stores direct to internal customers. You will be expected to assist with the administration of the planned maintenance systems and provide support in the management of stock counts, financial purchasing, and the management of stock.
The role requires a self-driven individual who will lead themselves and strive to do the right thing first time.
Essential Requirements
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop both yourself and others.
2. Good numeracy and literacy skills.
3. A solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
4. Understanding of financial terminology and basic budget management.
5. Solid time keeping and planning skills.
Desirable Requirements
1. Familiar with computerised preventative maintenance systems (SAP).
2. Warehouse experience operation and systems.
3. Forklift Experience or license.
4. Experience working with COUPA or similar procurement systems.
5. Knowledge of basic engineering – e.g. mechanical or electrical.
6. Food industry experience.
Key Accountabilities
1. Support the equipment refurbishment process to achieve efficient repair and service from suppliers.
2. Communicate with suppliers to ensure a high level of service is achieved.
3. Generate purchase requisitions for engineering and other departments.
4. Timely goods receipting of items received into the sites stores and notifying requesters of delivery.
5. Maintain technical library information to assist engineering department personnel.
6. Supply maintenance spares on request via the stores counter or WIP bay.
7. Manage the cyclic physical stock take each month involving printing the stock count sheets and ensuring the counts are inputted into SAP.
8. Record parts withdrawals and additions on the SAP system.
9. Unload deliveries and put away in correct storage locations.
10. Provide support to the Engineering Planner and Engineering managers.
11. Complete empty bin walkabout once per week and ensure any stock is ordered.
