TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based near Farnham who is searching for a Bookkeeper to join their successful team. In this key role, you will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and providing other services to a mixed and varied client base across Surrey and the South. You will add value to clients and build relationships within a growing team and firm.

As a Bookkeeper / Assistant Management Accountant based from their offices near Farnham, you will have a hands-on role and develop within this firm and environment. You will deliver bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT, and other services to sole traders, partnerships, and limited company SMEs and OMBs of varying sizes and industry sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Preparing financial data up to trial balance
* Double entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
* Prepayments and accruals, VAT returns
* Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Requirements:
* AAT qualified or nearly qualified
* Strong Sage Line 50 or Xero software experience
* Good knowledge of Excel
* Competent in all accounting principles
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision
Benefits:
