The opportunity
Mackenzie Jones is thrilled to partner with a leading FMCG ice cream business renowned for its portfolio of over 30 brands, including three that each generate over €1 billion in revenue, operating across more than 60 countries.

They are now seeking a National Account Manager to oversee their QSR accounts. The National Account Manager is responsible for building strong working relationships with the buying team; developing and executing customer business plans at a category level which deliver market share and profitability. You will also act as the key point of contact for the customer buyers, supply chain, shopper marketing, and internal category and brand teams.
Key focus areas for this role include:
* Serve Your Customer – Lead the customer-business relationship within your categories, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
* Shopper First – Drive category growth through insights and consistently exceed shopper expectations.
* Drive Digital – Confidently integrate and leverage digital strategies in discussions and execution.
* Better Deal – Apply extensive commercial rigour to assess and implement growth strategies, propelling the joint business plan forward.
* Build the Base – Utilise category-based selling to improve space, distribution, range, and point-of-sale presence for the business.
What will my key accountabilities be ?
* To build strong and sustainable customer relationships.
* Negotiating effectively with QSR customers to meet objectives & key results
* Developing and delivering the customer strategic business plan
* Agreeing a share winning trade plan
* Managing promotional and non-promotional investments with the customer and ensure all agreements are properly documented and stored
* Managing the launch and performance tracking of new products with customers & ensuring effective in-store activation of key events
* Managing the customer P&L to allocated targets
* Managing in-month performance vs forecast plus accruals and pricing accurately and efficiently
* Ensuring customer is compliant with agreed trade terms
* S&OP Forecasting
* Business Planning – up to date JBP tracking, forecasting and projecting to keep the business on track to target
* Delivery of required admin for the customer – pricing, rebates, NLF, promo proposals, trade terms, contracts
Who will I be working with?
External: Customer & their teams including the buying teams, supply chain & marketing
Internal: Wide range of stakeholders across marketing, brand, demand & supply chain and category contacts
A great candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a sales or customer account position – ideally with some QSR experience
* Proven history of working within a team environment
* Strong commercial knowledge and experience
