The Senior IT Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations, ensuring that the company's technology solutions align with business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of both technology and real estate, with a focus on driving efficiency and innovation in the company's offerings. Role Responsibilities Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and independent research to extract and evaluate insights for product enhancement. Use event storming, workshops, and interviews to gather and refine requirements for Agile development. Own feature project direction by creating, prioritising, and detailing user stories that guide new functionality within our product suite. Lead product design sessions, contribute to roadmap discussions, and coordinate with developers to ensure business-aligned solutions. Act as the business representative for the development team, clarifying requirements and participating in Agile sprint planning. Work with product, design, and QA teams to ensure requirements and specifications are fully understood and met. Develop and execute test plans, define acceptance criteria, and perform thorough functional reviews on new releases to ensure high-quality output and feature alignment with specifications. Act as a product evangelist within the company and externally, supporting sales and presales efforts as needed. Mentor junior analysts, instil best practices, and encourage a collaborative approach to problem-solving and product development. Role Requirements Must have In-depth experience in Agile principles and Scrum framework, with a focus on iterative development and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with property management or accounting systems, specifically in commercial property environments, is highly desirable. An understanding of user interface and user experience design to support end-user-friendly solutions that enhance product adoption. Awareness of AI potential and capabilities, especially in property tech applications, to guide product innovation and align with industry trends. Proficiency in JIRA or similar project management tools to organise, track, and report progress on development tasks and user stories.
