HIS3154 NATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER BARNSLEY- WITH UK WIDE TRAVEL CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent SALARY: £50,000 DOE CLOSING DATE: 31 st January 2025 A vacancy has arisen for a National Operations Manager who will assume responsibility for the Account Management of UK wide and site based Support Services contracts. This role will assume responsibility for the Account Management of UK wide and site based Support Services contracts. The role briefly encompasses the following: - To work as a part of the UK Operations team with responsibility for Hargreaves Industrial Services 'site support services' contracts. Typically, these contracts include services such as; buildings maintenance, grounds maintenance, statutory inspections, cleaning, waste management, minor civils projects, mobile electrical and mechanical maintenance. As required, the role shall also work in conjunction with the business development team to support the delivery of sound operational and commercial solutions for site services contract proposals. The role will be required to cover activities at various locations throughout the UK. The role shall assume responsibility for the personnel engaged on these contracts, both direct and indirect employees and for the overall delivery of the budget associated with each contract designated to them. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: - Minimum of 2-years' management experience of working in an Industrial/Site services role Proven experience delivering statutory compliance within varying industries Technical time served qualification preferred Experience with Civil's projects would be advantageous Experience with day to day operations using a maintenance management systems (example - Pirana) Flexible approach to work and travelling, overnight stays will be required A good fit with the Hargreaves Industrial Services culture Creative talents and the ability to solve problems Skills in prioritizing workload with excellent time management / organization Exceptional communication skills at all levels with both staff and at senior client levels Ability to produce and present professional management reports & presentations Experience in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems, supported by a positive and pro-active approach towards Health and safety Achieve set targets for pro-active SHEQ performance. Delivery of contractual KPI's and reports Demonstrate a sound commercial understanding of the contract's budget, associated spend and reporting. Identify opportunities to develop the business further, i.e. additional works, new contracts etc. Develop and demonstrate a good understanding of customer requirements and measure satisfaction on an ongoing basis.
