About The Role
We’re currently bringing our marketing efforts back in house after a period of outsourcing to an agency. This key role will support the Head of Marketing in owning demand generation and retention initiatives in alignment with sales goals, implementing multi-channel campaigns and events to generate the sales pipeline and conversion success.
Your Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the marketing strategy with the Head of Marketing, conducting market research and competitor / industry trend analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
2. Create, own, socialise and deliver the rolling annual go-to-market growth plan to create high quality marketing leads and full funnel initiatives, specifically targeting new and key customers at persona level.
3. Ensure marketing technology is used effectively to track and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
4. Define, implement, test and develop personalised nurture flows for customers versus prospects and formulate and manage re-engagement campaigns.
5. Ensure GDPR compliance and preference centre management and evolution.
6. Maintain the marketing database integration with Salesforce (lead data and event flow) and ensure data is maintained and cleansed.
7. Database management and appropriate segmentation of lists.
8. Own the partner marketing relationship, securing marketing development funds and seek additional co-branded possibilities.
9. Ownership and delivery of Agile and co-branded partner events (face to face and digital) delivering excellent customer experiences: venue sourcing, promotion, project / budget management and effectiveness to drive lead generation.
10. Work with the Marketing Communications Manager, Consultancy, Alliances and Sales to align activity to strategy and co-create materials to support targeted campaigns and sales activities, driving existing customer growth.
11. Define and manage LinkedIn outreach activities to drive sales: identifying prospective companies / stakeholders to connect and authentically message.
12. Conduct detailed reporting against KPIs including lead generation metrics, lead volume, conversion rates, channel success and pipeline contribution. Identify learnings and actionable recommendations.
About You
It would be ideal if you would have…
1. Deep knowledge of marketing automation and CRM platforms, understanding of WordPress, Google Analytics and Microsoft Office.
2. Experience and understanding of SEO techniques to improve search engine results pages.
3. Excellent understanding of testing and developing email nurture campaigns and developing high converting funnels.
4. Understanding of the GDPR impact on customer communications.
5. Proven experience in a B2B marketing role with a strong focus on lead generation and event management (roundtables, webinars, trade shows etc).
6. Demonstrable analytical skills to identify actionable insight.
7. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
8. A self-starter approach who can prioritise efficiently and work independently.
9. A confident collaborator with natural interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
It would be beneficial if you have…
1. Account based marketing experience.
2. Previous experience within a Data and Analytics, Cloud Services company.
3. Exposure to previous marketing comms experience within a Consulting Services, Business Services or Software Sales sector.
