Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's team and contribute to the production of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating CNC machines and programming machine controls, particularly utilizing Heidenhain and Fanuc control systems. Responsibilities
1. Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding.
2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and sequence of operations.
3. Program machine controls using Heidenhain and Fanuc control systems to execute machining tasks efficiently and accurately.
4. Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
5. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
6. Troubleshoot issues with machines, tools, and programs, making adjustments as necessary.
7. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Candidates will have:
1. Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines, particularly with Heidenhain and Fanuc control systems.
3. Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials.
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
5. Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
6. Effective problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
7. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
Education and Certification:
Vocational training or apprenticeship in CNC machining preferred.
Certification in CNC machining or related field is a plus.
