On behalf of our client, a prominent construction contractor near Carlisle, we are seeking an experienced Planner with a Civil Engineering background. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a driven professional to make a real impact on significant infrastructure projects by managing schedules, resources, and milestones.
Role Overview:
As a Planner, you'll be responsible for developing and overseeing project schedules, coordinating with engineering and project management teams to ensure effective project delivery. Key duties include conducting feasibility assessments, monitoring project progress to meet deadlines, and working with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks. You'll also provide insights to support continuous improvement and assist with budget management, resource allocation, and forecasting.
Minimum Requirements:
* HND / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Previous experience as a planner on civil engineering projects
* Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is essential
* Driving licence
