We are currently working with a leading University to recruit for an Interim Finance Business Partner.
The role would suit a someone who has previous Business Partnering experience within Higher Education and who is available at short notice.
* Support the efficient and effective delivery and presentation of management information
* Lead meetings to advise senior stakeholders on the financial position of their budgets and projects
* Assist in interpreting variances and agreeing follow-up measures where necessary
* Prepare annual budgets, projections and year-end forecasting
* Design and implement local reports to meet specific requirements
* Assist in the preparation of the final accounts and external returns
* Prepare and submit financial claims to funding bodies
* Assist with year-end audit process
* Provide training to both finance and non-finance members of staff
* Organise and deliver presentations as appropriate
* Assist in the training, instruction and coaching of team members
* CCAB part qualified as a minimum
* Proven ability to liaise effectively with staff at all management and directorate levels
* Good working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting issues and techniques
* Experience working within the University sector
