The Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Service - Children's Residential. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our residential estate, ensuring that children and young people receive high-quality care. You will oversee multiple children's homes and be responsible for both operational and strategic leadership. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and management to the residential services, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory and inspection frameworks. Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and achieve excellence. Work closely with colleagues across the Trust to deliver the Trust Sufficiency Strategy and strategic priorities. Ensure the inclusion of service users, partners, and staff in the journey to outstanding service provision. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the residential services. Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize performance outcomes. About You: Proven experience in a senior management role within children's residential or social care settings Strong knowledge of residential legislation, regulatory, and inspection frameworks. Dedication to continuous improvement and a commitment to achieving excellence. Ability to think strategically and innovate to improve service delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess an understanding of how to include our service users, partners and staff in our journey to outstanding. Have the ability to think ahead, scan opportunities to improve residential sufficiency, whilst ensuring the effectiveness of managers and staff in delivering good practice. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders. Interviews will take place week commencing 31 March 2025.
