This post is for a Consultant Radiologist with specialist interest in Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology (10 PAs). This is a replacement post due to job plan changes in the interventional radiology department. This postwill help meet the increase in demand for interventional and diagnostic radiology services and to help us establish and provide an interventional oncology service. The post includes participation in the IR on-call rota (participation in the diagnostic on-call rota is optional). Home PACS links are available. Candidates are encouraged to visit the hospital and can make arrangements through contacting the Clinical Lead: Dr Gary Cross (gary.crossnhs.net) or Dr Robert Colliver, Consultant Interventional Radiologist (robertcollivernhs.net). Main duties of the job The candidate must be able to provide a range of non-vascular interventional radiology procedures and ideally will be competent in haemorrhage control.
