Responsibilities:
* Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
* Assist students in developing academic and social skills in line with their Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Education or Special Education
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to tailor teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
* Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support SEN students
* Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
* Knowledge of relevant educational laws and policies
* Prior experience working in a similar role with SEN students
* Additional training in SEN support
* Experience working with students across different age groups
Work in educational settings such as schools or learning centres. Part-time hours may vary based on student needs and scheduling.
