Head of EV Process Design and Integration
Working within this innovative new function this role will contribute significantly in the area of EV Charging, Sustainability and Renewable Energy. Working with our partners the role will support Roadchef in growing our EV charging presence on the Motorway Service Areas and will provide our customers with a reliable, simple to use, engaging and informative experience. You will be part of a fast paced agile team who will be responsible for building our long term vision for EV with leading edge innovative solutions that help us differentiate our products and services.
You will be responsible for undertaking the detailed design of the new processes and operating model required to develop and deploy Roadchef’s EV Services. The role will include mapping current state EV processes, blueprinting future state requirements, identifying gaps, designing and helping to implement the new processes that are required. Analysing and improving processes to make them more efficient, faster with improved quality.
The successful candidate will interact with the main parts of our business in addition to EV, including commercial, retail, catering, IT, property and finance.
You will also focus on managing timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver objectives on schedule and within scope.
Experience:
* Extensive experience in process design, business analysis, or a similar role.
* Proven experience in process mapping, workflow design, and process improvement.
* Some EV experience would be a bonus but not absolutely necessary.
Technical Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in process modelling tools and project management software.
* Familiarity with systems and integration technologies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Soft Skills:
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
