The hours of work will be approximately 22.50 hours per week and the post will be G04 PR 8 - 11 £12,726.74 to £13,812.30 per annum (£12.8037 - £13.4656 per hour).
An enthusiastic person is required to provide catering for the students, staff, and visitors. This includes providing school meals in accordance with centrally agreed menus and undertaking the associated supervisory duties.
Main Duties:
1. Travel to the school kitchen in Conwy County Borough Council area where assistance is needed.
2. Provide on-the-job training for new cooks and colleagues.
3. Cooking the meals required, portion control, food service, ordering, washing up, and cleaning of the kitchen and dining room.
4. Be prepared to undergo appropriate training and development (sometimes outside normal working days/hours by prior arrangement), i.e., Intermediate Food Hygiene and Basic Nutrition.
5. Associated clerical duties.
Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau).
