We have an exciting opportunity for an organised administrator to join our Radiology Team at Ipswich Hospital. As an integral part of the team you will provide a high standard of administrative support to the Medical Imaging Clinical and Operational Leadership Teams. You will use your current administrative skills to support the department to ensure an effective service is delivered to our service users. You will be provided with on the job training on our hospital systems and specifics for each of the modalities within Radiology.,
* Co-ordinate and maintain all directorate files including assisting in developing and maintaining efficient electronic and manual filing systems in Medical Imaging including the maintenance of files on Q-pulse
* Responsible for the maintenance of accurate data on hospital systems as appropriate including Radiology specific systems.
* Deal with external and internal queries. This may include providing complex or sensitive non clinical information or advice to patients or relatives.
* Manage your own workload to ensure completion of the full range of your tasks using the knowledge, skills and experience you have gained. Support other team members to undertake the full range of administrative activities
* Operate office equipment eg photocopier, printer etc to support administrative processes.
You will need to have the ability to work under pressure to strict dealings with excellent organisational skills.
You will work on your own initiative with attention to detail and have confident and accurate IT skills.
