We are looking to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide clinical and professional Occupational Therapy interventions within the community. The post holder will provide support to the Community Care teams, ensuring that the team contributes to the implementation of Southern Health Clinical Governance Strategies. The appointed person must be a car driver and have access to a car, this is essential for this role. Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments of patients with diverse and complex conditions, providing a clinical diagnosis (where appropriate), development, and delivery of individualised treatment programmes. To support the case management process by providing expert clinical advice and therapy to patients with a variety of complex conditions living in the community who are at risk of deteriorating health that may result in declining quality of life or avoidable hospital admission to secondary care As a supervisor, delegate tasks to assistant practitioners and junior therapists relevant to their skill level and competence.
