Court of Protection Partner - BristolMy client are a Legal 500 firm who are seeking a full-time lawyer at Partner level to lead their esteemed Court of Protection team.The role involves handling a variety of mental capacity law matters, including deputyship applications, administration, statutory wills and gifting, property and affairs deputyship advice, welfare cases, residence care, treatment decisions, and LPAs.This role offers strategic input and management of a diverse caseload.Responsibilities:Lead the team, including strategic planning and business developmentConduct monthly meetings and provide technical support and trainingAttend HoD and partnership meetingsHandle recruitment, staff management, complaints, and complianceAdvise clients on Court of Protection issues and disputesAct as a professional DeputyIdeal Candidate:Member of the Law Society Mental Capacity PanelQualified solicitor or equivalent (CPQ)Professional Deputy with extensive Court of Protection experienceTeam management experienceExcellent communication skillsOur client is a prominent and well respected Bristol law firm known for excellent legal services and a progressive work culture.
