User Researcher - SC Clearable Salary: £75,000 - £78,000 per annum. In this role the ideal User Researcher will have the ability to identify appropriate research and facilitate this by conduction the most appropriate research methods while communicate and analyse results. It is important to note that with this role of a User Researcher you are required to have SC Clearance or be eligible to progress with the recruitment process. Responsibilities of a User Researcher will include: Assess business needs and determine a suitable research method. Thoroughly document and demonstrate research plans outlining and presenting outcomes of such research plan. Ability to conduct information gathering activities such as discussion guides and facilitating user research sessions. Create and maintain strong and meaningful relationships through conducting in-depth interviews, workshop interviews and ethnographic research techniques. Assess research outcomes through to use of appropriate tools and assist cross-functional teams to translate outcomes. Create visual aids through journey mapping, process flows or other visual techniques to assist both end-to-end and surface-to-core service customers. Develop and recommend actionable recommendations by presenting to key stakeholders in order to create actionable strategic improvements. Essential experience for the role of a User Researcher will include: Previous experience as a User Researcher (UX) primarily focusing on public services or consultancy firms or agencies where research and data driven results are critical in decision making. Experienced in creating and facilitating appropriate research plans that delivered on research objectives. Proficient presentation skills and the ability to communicate insights and actionable recommendations whilst adhering to the interests and existing knowledge of your audience. Proven track record of working collaboratively with across multiple teams and stakeholders situated across different departments. Previous experience within the government sector.
