Job Description: Kirsty's is a rapidly growing food manufacturing business, trading over multiple categories within the chilled, frozen and ready to eat fixtures supplying all major retailers. We're seeking a dynamic leader with extensive experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, and operational efficiency. The Operations Manager will oversee daily production activities, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards. They will also develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and reduce downtime. Other key responsibilities include managing production KPIs, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, leading and mentoring the production team, and developing and managing the production budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership and people management skills, operational excellence, problem-solving ability, financial acumen, communication skills, and technology proficiency. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or ready meal production in a senior operational role.
