Why are we recruiting?
We are passionate about our retailers at PayPoint; they are at the heart of our business, and we always want to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service. This is a fixed-term contract role from 24th February - 24th October 2025, paying £14,096. The working hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am - 5.15pm, with one in every 10 weekends.
What will you be doing?
You will be taking calls from our retailers who are based in convenience stores across the country. You will listen, empathise, and find solutions to the problems and challenges faced by our retailers every day. You will manage queries via email, calls, and audio messages. Our aim is to get those retailers back to serving customers effectively. We will provide great training and assign you a buddy, senior, or team leader to help with your questions. Once you feel comfortable and understand the different PayPoint products, you will start assisting retailers and making a real difference. The pace is fast, so we need people who are driven, focused, and want to succeed.
What would we like from you?
Excellent customer service skills
Experience using Microsoft products such as Outlook and Excel
A desire to make a difference
Flexibility – you may be asked to cover some extra shifts
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
Technically minded with the ability to solve technical queries once trained.

Where you can expect to move to once you have mastered a Retail Service Adviser role?
If you stay within the Contact Centre, you can progress to Senior Retail Service Advisers and Team Leaders. If you choose to move out of the Contact Centre, people have transitioned into Retail Operations, Parcels, Retail Collections, and IT. Upskilling could lead to junior finance or administrative roles in a client team. If you decide to leave PayPoint, our people have moved into various customer service roles, administrative roles, or even joined the police force.
