Description An exciting opportunity to join our operation and technical team comprising pensions experts from different backgrounds, who are developing a cutting edge integrated admin and actuarial solution for our clients. We are recruiting experienced Defined Benefit pensions professionals to join us as a Pensions Data and Transition Specialists and act as specialists in the analysis, transformation, mapping and downward use of pension scheme data. These professionals will apply their experience and expertise to design and deliver an efficient and agile data process as part of our admin and actuarial solution. This is a unique chance to work in an innovative team developing new solutions for our clients and pension scheme members. The Role: You will create and customise tools and solutions, completing work to a high standard ready for senior peer review, and taking full responsibility for timely delivery of the work. You will be comfortable communicating technical issues in a clear way to a broad audience. It is expected that you will be highly numerate with good analytical skills and be used to working with modern software and ideally have a keen interest in developing technological solutions for the benefit of our clients. In addition, we expect good organisation skills and core project management behaviours to complement your technical expertise. Some experience in pension data analysis and transitions in an admin, consulting or insurer context is advantageous as well as more advanced data and benefit auditing. Qualifications The Requirements A proven track record in delivering multiple projects to set deadlines An innovative approach to solving problems; openness to new solutions. Strong knowledge and experience of UK DB Pension arrangements, including experience of analysing and mapping pension scheme data A strong understanding of manual benefit calculations and processes Experienced in creating solutions and customising software to correct data or carry out pension scheme calculations Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Experience working with pension administration systems or other similar databases A clear, concise and great communicator of complex or technical issues relating to UK pensions and member data to a broad audience Experience in developing close working relationships with clients and/or external third parties, or suppliers Proven delegation skills and a natural desire to coach and mentor junior associates A firm commitment to delivering high quality service.
