Business Analyst, Stranded Inventory Reduction Program

This role is based out of our Bangalore corporate office and is for a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-centric Business Analyst.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical and business needs.
2. In-depth research of drivers of the Localization business.
3. Analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues.
4. Suggest and build new metrics and analysis that enable better perspective on business.
5. Capture the right metrics to influence stakeholders and measure success.
6. Develop domain expertise and apply to operational problems to find solutions.
7. Work across teams with different stakeholders to prioritize and deliver data and reporting.
8. Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
2. 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
3. Experience with SQL or ETL.
4. Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI packages.
5. Analytical skills – ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis, and draw conclusions relevant to the business problem.
6. Experience with data visualization using Tableau or similar tools.
7. Experienced in Python.
8. Exposure to ETL and AWS services like Redshift, S3, etc.
9. Expert-level proficiency in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets.
