We are working with a client in Sheffield who are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Veterinary Surgeon to join a close-knit team at a fully equipped, busy small animal veterinary hospital. As a first opinion practice with 24-hour emergency care, they offer you the opportunity to see your cases progress from start to finish. The team includes experienced professionals, such as peripatetic orthopedic surgeons, a cardiologist, and veterinary surgeons with advanced qualifications in surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and medicine. They carry out complex surgeries including BOAS, ear canal ablations, ruptured hernia repairs, and advanced orthopedic procedures.
In a typical full-time working week, you’ll work 36-37.5 hours across both main hospital and a branch site. Your shifts will include 8-9.5 hour day shifts with a paid 30-minute lunch, and you will also participate in the on-call rota, covering weekdays and weekends (on-call from home with a nurse on-site), all on a flexible shift basis. They are also open to part-time applicants who would like to participate in the on-call rota.

* UK driving license required.
