Job Title: Full-Time Support Worker (Complex Needs - All Ages)
Location: Islington
Salary: £95 per day
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Full-Time Support Worker to work with students of all ages who have complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at a school in Islington. This is a rewarding role where you will provide vital support to help students achieve their personal and academic goals, with personal care required as part of the role.
In this position, you will be working with students across different age groups, offering tailored care and support based on their individual needs. You will play a key role in ensuring students' comfort, dignity, and well-being while also assisting with their educational development. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and committed to making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and group support to students with complex SEND needs, across all age groups.
2. Assist with personal care tasks, ensuring the health, safety, and dignity of the students.
3. Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to adapt learning strategies and care routines.
4. Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for students.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children or young adults with complex needs.
2. A compassionate and patient attitude, with the ability to handle personal care responsibilities.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. A genuine desire to support students with SEND in reaching their full potential.
