Job Description
Growers Garden were established to shake up the snacking game, and that’s exactly what we’ve done. Our first range of whole fresh veg crisps (like a potato crisp, but better in every way) has just launched into major retailers, and our second range is now set to follow suit, with listings agreed with most of the major multiples. Our third and fourth ranges are in the last stages of development and then, who knows, maybe we’ll start on cereal!
Our points of difference are where we really shine in the snacking category. Not only are our crisps vegan and contain 30% fresh veg, they also use all the wonky (ugly!) crop from local farmers to save it from going to waste. You might call us Scottish waste warriors… or you might not.
But with our meteoric rise comes the media challenge. How do we make people aware of our crisps? What does our new packaging look like? What message do we want to convey to the masses of crisp lovers in the UK? And that’s really where this new role comes in. This is the opportunity to jump into the brand marketing manager role at Growers Garden, overseeing all aspects of our brand, from packaging design, print concepts, social media content creation, ad campaigns, photoshoots, and more.
The main role responsibilities are outlined below:
* To be a brand and social marketer
* Create engaging and meaningful campaigns across all our social platforms
* Work with the sales team to devise joint marketing plans with retailers
* Analyse marketing data and report on engagement rates, conversion to sale, effectiveness of call to action, and ROI
* Devise new product launch campaigns, from email adverts, social media, content creation, Amazon listings and customer pitches
* Content creation for social media, print designs, email campaigns
* Work with the NPD team to understand category insights, shaping our decisions on what we launch next and how best to do it
This role is truly the ‘start to finish’ of brand development. Offering opportunity and growth, giving you the freedom and creativity to truly shine. It’s also a chance to help a company just starting its B Corp journey!
What you’ll need to succeed – nobody ticks every box and that’s ok, we’d still love to hear from you.
* 4+ years experience in brand marketing, ideally in the food and drink sector
* Ability to be creative and unique. We don’t want what everyone else has, we set the trends
* Ability to work with the sales team on new launches and retailer plans
* Ability to interpret data and present marketing KPIs to the team
* Passion, passion and more passion (but a lot of veg wouldn’t hurt)
Salary: £32,500 = £37,500 DOE
Location: Cupar, Fife – hybrid role with at least 2 days per week in the office (or equiv.)
