Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives? Spring Lane School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic Secondary Pupil Referral Unit, helping engage young people in their learning journey and shaping their futures.
About Us: Spring Lane School is an evolving Secondary Pupil Referral Unit dedicated to engaging young people in their learning journey and transforming their futures. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support to students and teachers.
* Assist with the delivery of lessons and learning activities.
* Offer individual and small group support to students.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Help monitor student progress and provide feedback.
* Collaborate with SENCo, teachers and other support staff to meet students' needs, including EHCP Targets.
Requirements:
* Passion for working with young people and supporting their learning.
* Experience and understanding of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience and understanding when working with students who may need additional support.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to work.

The post is 32.5 hours per week term time plus 5 PAD days.
