We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Communications Associate to join the team for a period of up to 12 months.
The Change Communications Associate will report directly into the Change Communications Manager and be responsible for supporting the delivery of change projects with best practice change communication strategies, plans and content across NHS Supply Chain.
This will include supporting the delivery of communications for the logistics procurement, estates strategy, new IT model, and other key change and business projects.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring these changes are communicated successfully, with all our people understanding and supporting them. There is an appreciation from the business that communicating the changes effectively is integral to their success. This includes:
Every day you will:
* Help deliver the NHS Supply Chain change communications strategy and communication plan for change projects, ensuring change is effectively realised across a broad range of internal and external stakeholder groups – working with the wider communications team (including marketing, external and customer communication teams).
* This will include working closely with the Change Communications Manager to tailor messages according to progress in the plan and the change journey being experienced.
* Creating communications to help colleagues of all levels understand the change journey, benefits, the role they play and future ways of working.
* Ensuring effective liaison with communication leads on the delivery of activities to ensure communications are of a high quality and encapsulate key messages, considering multiple stakeholder groups across the business both internal and external.
* Demonstrating effective, strategic networking skills to develop relationships with key stakeholders of all levels to listen and respond to feedback by implementing and owning two-way dialogue channels.
* Building relationships with key business leaders to ensure they understand and are able to successfully communicate any change projects internally and externally.
* Helping to articulate a key narrative and strategic messaging, you will support the creation of key communications and ensuring all communications are consistent and on message. You will also identify key milestones, and any communications needs from other transformation workstreams.
* Responsible for the production and delivery of engaging and well-constructed content in multiple formats, including audio, visual, events, and written communications.
* Ensuring administration tasks, such as data capture, reporting, and event/meeting facilitation, are completed to support the success of the communications and the wider communications team.
