About The Role

As a Generator Fitter, you’ll help us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and live up to our values, setting an unrivalled standard for the industry.
In this role, you’ll be joining our Accommodation specialist team, who specialise in the rental of temporary building systems to suit diverse requirements – including anti-vandal ‘green specification’ accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers, and everything else our customers need for construction sites and events.
On a day-to-day basis as a Generator Fitter, you will maintain and repair all generators and equipment within our range. This will include finding and capturing machine damage and keeping accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records. It is also really important that you communicate effectively, ensuring that your Line Manager and Customers are kept informed as required. Working alongside colleagues, you will be a great team player and take pride in your workplace and working environment, making sure that high standards are maintained whilst complying with company procedures and processes.

To succeed as a Generator Fitter you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
* Prior experience with portable accommodation units and generators
* Able to work as part of a Team, supporting colleagues
* Welding experience
* Experience in dealing with hydraulics
* Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home
* Great communication skills – both verbal and written
* Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
* Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
