Building Surveyor Annual Salary: £41,468 (plus a market supplement of £3,599 per annum) Location: Middlesbrough and surrounding areas Job Type: Full-timeJoin our fantastic clients Major Structural Defects team as a Building Surveyor in Middlesbrough. This role offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You will be involved in a variety of surveying tasks, focusing on structural and fire damage works, as well as addressing issues related to damp and mould. Day-to-day of the role: Work as part of the Structural Defects team to deliver a customer-focused and right-first-time surveying service. Lead on insurance work related to fire and structurally damaged properties. Manage sub-contractors from inception to completion on a variety of work. Survey and specify works relating to structural defects which fall under insurance thresholds. Produce high-quality written technical reports and detailed drawings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Building Surveying degree or significant experience in a similar role. Up-to-date knowledge of CDM regulations and experience applying this knowledge in practice. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in undertaking a range of building surveys.
