About the role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Relief Receptionist to join our existing team, providing a comprehensive reception service at Hartrigg Oaks for our residents, visitors, and the staff team.
Dealing with telephone calls, greeting residents and visitors to Hartrigg Oaks and The Oaks Centre, are all part of the job. You will provide general administrative support to the Care Services department and Hartrigg Oaks Management team.
You will be working on an ‘as and when required’ basis, but please note our Reception opening hours include the following:
* Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
* Saturday 9am – 1pm
* Sunday and Bank Holidays 10am – 1pm
About you
Ideally with a background in reception work, you will be well versed in dealing with different people at all levels from managers to residents and staff.
You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and have great numeracy and literacy skills, as well as having an organised approach to your work. You will be friendly and approachable, and able to build good working relationships. You will be capable of looking at various ways of communicating with people based on their individual needs.
Having a flexible attitude will stand you in good stead as you will have competing demands and deadlines to achieve. At times, you will be working unsupervised and using your own initiative.
Please note that this role will be subject to a DBS check.
