The Keysoe Café offers the community a hub where people are able to come together to enjoy quality meals, prepared on site using locally sourced fresh ingredients. We are recruiting for the position of Deli Chef / Baker, to provide support to the Head Chef in delivering a consistently high quality across the food offering. This role will focus on the preparation of luxury deli items to include cakes and baked goods in addition to freshly prepared lunch bites. The role offers sociable working hours, on a shift pattern of 5 days over 7. We pay competitively and offer a variety of benefits to include private healthcare and pension contribution. About the role: Prepare and assemble luxury deli items according to our own recipes and customer preferences Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available for daily use Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or special requests Support the Head Chef as required About you: Demonstrable experience of being a Chef / Baker working with fresh ingredients Knowledge of Food Safety or Hygiene protcols Conference or Banquet experience is bonus Have a flexible approach to teamwork; being able to think on your own, yet care about the broader team All team members have a responsibility to demonstrate and advocate company values at all times; teamwork, respect, integrity, learning & sharing.
