Job description
This hands-on role includes design, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting of pressure systems for military aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and test electronics cooling systems, including military aviation platforms.
* Lead qualification and system integration activities in both UK and international test facilities.
* Present engineering solutions and investigation reports to internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop skills towards Competent Person - Pressure Systems status.
Job Requirements:
* Experience in industries such as refrigeration, air conditioning, thermal management, or liquid cooling.
* Familiarity with phase change cooling systems, pressure systems, and refrigerants.
* Ability to interpret pressure enthalpy diagrams and perform pressure/leak testing.
* Strong technical writing and communication skills for preparing safety assessments, user manuals, and circuit diagrams.
* Familiarity with UK, European, and international safety legislation (environmental, pressure system safety, REACH).
