Location: Swindon Contract: Fixed-term (39 weeks) About the Role A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking a highly organized Document Controller / Site Administrator to join their project team on a fixed-term 39-week contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the site team on a high-profile construction project. Key Responsibilities Document Control: Manage and maintain project documentation using the company’s EDMS (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar). Ensure all drawings, RFIs, and specifications are updated and correctly distributed. Maintain version control and document tracking logs to prevent errors. Site Administration: Provide administrative support to the project team, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and preparing reports. Assist with site inductions, ensuring all personnel have completed the necessary paperwork. Maintain records of permits, site diaries, and compliance documentation. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all documents comply with company procedures and industry regulations. Support audits by maintaining accurate and well-organized records. Assist in managing health & safety documentation and tracking site incidents/near misses. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate smooth document flow. Support the project team with administrative tasks related to procurement, deliveries, and scheduling. Act as the main point of contact for document-related queries on-site. Key Requirements ✅ Experience: Previous experience as a Document Controller or Site Administrator within a construction environment. Experience working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor is desirable. ✅ Technical Skills: Proficiency in EDMS platforms (Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, Procore, or similar). Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). ✅ Personal Attributes: Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
