About the role We are looking for a part-time co-convenor for NERUPI (The Network for Evaluating and Researching University Participation Initiatives) to support the management and organisation of the network and contribute to its strategic direction. Based at the University of Bath, NERUPI is a praxis-based membership organisation funded by subscription from over 70 HEIs. NERUPI organises online and in-person workshops, CPD, conferences and collaborative working groups to support members in developing their equity and evaluation strategies. A partnership approach is fundamental to NERUPI including fostering collaborative research projects. NERUPI also has a member's website providing an extensive range of resources and tools including the NERUPI Evaluation Framework. The post of Co-Convenor is a varied role working with a small, committed team of Research and Development Officers and Research Associates supported by part-time administrators. The person appointed will have a strong commitment to widening participation and equity initiatives supported by knowledge of the policy and research landscape in the field. This role is offered on a part time (21.9 hours per week) permanent basis. Experience of developing and delivering CPD activities, workshops, conferences and other events combining research, policy and practice. Ability to build effective partnerships and collaborations between individuals and stakeholder groups, engendering shared purpose and the opportunity and motivation to achieve objectives. Capacity to initiate, bid for and manage research and other funded projects including collaborative projects with NERUPI members. Track record in writing reports, briefings and publications in the field of WP and Equity. Ability to develop and implement, guidelines and protocols to support equity initiatives including leading and overseeing the development of the NERUPI Framework and related resources. Capacity to take a strategic overview of the NERUPI budget to provide value for money for subscribers whilst ensuring financial sustainability. £46,485 to £55,295 pro rata per annum, Grade 8
