The University of Salford has a new opportunity on a one-year fixed term contract for a Placements Assistant in the School of Health and Society, supporting Nursing and Midwifery programmes. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to working collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to provide outstanding customer service, together with the ability to administer complex systems and procedures and work effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in the standard Office 365 packages and will have the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Key Responsibilities Provision of a high-quality service to internal and external customers and stakeholders regarding all aspects of placement administration from maintaining databases with relevant information to providing advice to students and academics on placement processes. Creation and maintenance of accurate data regarding student placements. Providing information and advice to students, academics and placement providers regarding the use of placement administration and assessment systems. Assisting the Placement Administrators with placement allocation processes. Processing and providing advice on student Travel and Dual Accommodation Expenses claims through the NHS Learning Support Fund.
