Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Technologist, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality and safety. You will be responsible for conducting product safety audits, managing quality-related documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials and finished products.
* Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and customer specifications.
* Perform calibrations on test equipment.
* Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
* Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Conduct routine factory food safety and quality inspections.
* Manage and monitor SAP stock movement and customer testing requirements.
* Oversee allergen management and environmental monitoring programmes.
* Participate in crisis management processes when required.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a changing environment.
* High attention to detail and structured approach to quality management.
* Proficiency in MS Office Tools and understanding of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems.
* Knowledge of ISO22000 Standards, HACCP Level 3, and Food Safety Level 3.
* Diploma or higher qualification in Food Science or a related subject.
* Knowledge of TACCP and BRC Global Food Standards.
