We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Principal Commercial Manager to join our dynamic Highways Technology Services business. As part of the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure team, the role comes at an exciting time of rapid growth in this emerging market.
In this role, you will lead on the contractual and commercial duties by being responsible for the creation of excellent client relationships in support of successful account delivery, aiding change and conflict management, and promoting Amey in retaining/winning future works. Leadership and support to both Supply Chain procurement and Work Winning activities.

What You’ll Do:
* Promote the Amey “Zero Harm” Safety Culture and support delivery of the account/Business Target Zero Action Plans.
* Develop excellent client relationships in support of successful account delivery and to aid change and conflict management and promoting Amey in retaining/winning future works.
* Delivery and accountability for the commercial reporting requirements, accurate cost planning, financial control, CVR reporting, budgeting and WIP management, ensuring strong relationships with Finance and Operational functions.
* Ensure that all Contracts/Internal Trading Agreements are fully executed and stored in a central repository.
* Ensure that all supply chain is procured correctly and that sub-contractors are well managed in line with the required outcomes and fair payment requirements.
* Lead or provide commercial support to the business stream to implement commercial strategies that deliver winning bids, achieve good p/l results with sustainable cash flows, managed risk and opportunity across a portfolio of Contracts or bids as applicable.
