Business Support - Information and Knowledge Management

As an Information Officer, you will provide high-quality information services according to the needs of the firm and its clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking research, utilising a wide range of online and hard copy resources
* Staffing the library enquiry desk, participating in the library's shift system to ensure cover between 8.30am - 6.00pm
* Assisting with trainee and other new staff induction programmes
* Providing training on research skills and online resources
* Raising awareness of the service and collecting feedback, including attending practice area meetings
* Liaising with Professional Support Lawyers on legal team knowledge requirements
* Occasional visits to UK branch offices, with monthly visits to the London office for anchor days
* Working on projects to further develop the service, as required
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:
* At least one year's experience in legal information, ideally in a law firm environment
* Practical experience of undertaking research and familiarity with SharePoint
* Ideally, someone who has achieved or is working towards an information qualification or similar
