Join our IT Team at The Compleat Food Group We have a fantastic opportunity for a 1st Line IT Engineer to join our innovative and rapidly growing IT team in Nottingham. In this role you will be supporting the business by owning issues raised through the Service Desk system from issue identification to resolution. Working Hours Monday to Thursday 09:30 – 18:00 and Fridays 09.:30-17:00 – who doesn’t love an early finish on a Friday Your Duties Will Include Ability to diagnose issues, apply a 1st time fix or escalate to a resolver team. Experienced in working with Service Desk tools or similar workload management products. Broad experience of acting as a Point of Contact for service-related questions. Experience of working in a multi-site environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience of engaging with multiple stakeholders and prioritise activity accordingly Demonstrable experience of ownership of key customer issues / problems and the ability to follow up the status of escalations on behalf of the Asst Service Desk Manager, Service Desk Manager and the Customers Communicate progress in a timely manner Key Behavioural Competencies Be tenacious and focussed on execution of actions to meet business goals Follow through on your own commitments Make effective and sound decisions with speed Convey a hunger to learn and for new information, knowledge and experiences Learn from past experiences Accurately reflect on your own behaviour and actions and continuously develops self Rapidly learn new skills, grasps new concepts and acquire a new way of seeing things Develop knowledge and technical expertise Demonstrate a full understanding of customer needs and expectations to enable the effective delivery of appropriate quality services which meet customer expectations Communicate with high impact Qualifications A Level qualifications or equivalent is desirable.
