In response to increased demand in Afghan resettlement (Afghan Resettlement Programme - ARP) due to political decisions in Afghanistan's neighbouring countries, our officers play a vital role in aiding Afghan and UKRS families under the Managed Resettlement Stream. They ensure a seamless transition for individuals relocated to Wiltshire, prioritising access to public services, and supporting families towards independence and integration in line with specific relocation scheme guidelines. To excel in this role, a deep understanding of public sector services, empathy for the experiences of new arrivals in the UK, and a profound respect for diverse cultures are essential.
