Job Description
1. You will provide accurate and clear legal advice, managing client's expectations, explaining decisions and the steps in the claims process clearly and succinctly; always ensuring the fair treatment of clients.
2. Take all reasonable steps to settle claims and recover costs.
3. Record time spent accurately and maintain accurate system records.
4. Identify learning & development needs and opportunities for self and wider team progression.
5. Support the strategic development of department best practice, product performance, and the customer experience through continuous improvement initiatives, you will be supported in generating new ideas with all ideas welcomed and encouraged.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Contract Litigator should have:
1. UK/IRE Qualified with a minimum of 5 years PQE
2. Experience of dealing with Professional Negligence or Inheritance claims is desirable
3. A solid understanding of insurance law.
4. Proven experience in contract litigation
5. Experience of collaborating within a high performing team
