Pulse Recruit are recruiting for a Full Stack Software Engineering Tech Lead for an innovative company that is redefining content management.
This company collaborates with a diverse range of clients, including well-known organisations like American Express, eBay, HarperCollins and many more.
They focus on creating exceptional content—spanning technical documentation, eLearning, online help, visualisations, and training materials—enabling their clients to compete at the highest level.
In this pivotal role, you will support the development of complex, scalable software solutions that are designed to delight customers. You will work closely with product teams and clients to understand end-user requirements, define software designs and architectures, and oversee the development of sophisticated data services and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with product leads to prioritise, scope, and deliver high-quality updates while effectively utilising available resources.
* Collaborate with leadership to balance immediate technical choices and architectural strategies against the company’s long-term goals, serving as a focal point for questions and decision-making.
* Combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills to mentor junior developers, empower team members, allocate work efficiently, and cultivate the right skill sets necessary for executing the roadmap.
* Maintain a strong focus on innovation, scalability, and security as the technology stack continues to evolve.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration within the engineering team.
* Work with product and design teams to simplify complex systems, making them intuitive and user-friendly.
Experience and Skills Required:
* Front End: 3–5 years of experience in developing web-based solutions with modern UI frameworks and technologies including Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS.
* Back End: 7+ years of experience in developing web-based or cloud-based solutions with excellent Java and web services programming skills.
* Familiarity with modern cloud-based deployments such as containerisation and microservices.
* Experience managing technical team members with demonstrated technical leadership skills.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
* Experience with Agile/Lean methods, including Scrum and Kanban.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

* Location: Hybrid role based in South London (2 days per week in the office)
* Salary: Up to £95,000 per annum
